City crews are responsible for plowing and deicing the more than 180 miles of city streets. Snow and ice must be removed from public sidewalks within 48 hours. On-street parking is prohibited any time snowplowing or snow removal operations are in progress.
It is a violation of City ordinance to place snow within the public street or walkway because it creates a public safety hazard for vehicles and pedestrians.
