SafeCam Registration

SafeCam is a camera registration program promoted by the Apple Valley Police Department. SafeCamSafeCam Opens in new windowallows residents and businesses to voluntarily register their private video system with the police and allow officers to contact them should a crime occur in or near where their camera is installed.

The SafeCam registry provides officers with an instant list of locations where participants have camera systems that may aid in the investigation of a crime. You will only be contacted by the Apple Valley Police Department if there is a criminal incident in the vicinity of your camera.

Your personal information will remain confidential and will not be distributed except as required by law or court order. The SafeCam program is 100% voluntary and does not provide the Apple Valley Police Department with access to your security system. You may opt out of the program at any time by calling (952) 953-2706.
